It supports one-way, airport (SFO, OAK and SJC), and hourly trips around the Bay Area. Use the separate `check_ride_availability` tool with the same inputs for available, unavailable, or unknown status. Availability is tentative: neither tool holds a vehicle, creates a reservation, or takes payment. Follow the returned `booking_url` to prefill and review the trip on the website. Requests are limited to 30 per IP per five minutes and 300 combined per five minutes; clients should honor the `Retry-After` header. Use a server-side MCP client runtime; this endpoint is not a browser CORS proxy. Waiting beyond 45 minutes incurs a one-hour waiting charge. For regular, non-airport trips, waiting or a requested pickup delay of more than 30 minutes incurs a one-hour waiting charge. Confirm the applicable waiting rate with the operator.
