Campus architecture, art, and gardens

Stanford University campus

Stanford’s campus offers a large collection of architecture, gardens, and public art across an expansive setting. Choose a self-guided route through the central campus and reserve a guided visit only if it matches your purpose and is available.

01

Follow a central campus route

Start from visitor information and use the university’s self-guided materials to choose a manageable walk. Campus buildings and programs have their own access rules, so check before entering a specific site.

02

Look for public art and gardens

The campus includes public artworks and landscaped spaces that reward a slower walk. Pick a few landmarks instead of trying to cover the full campus in one visit.

Getting there & back

Give the ride a place in your plans.

A private ride can bring you to the Stanford Visitor Center or a specific campus building. Share the confirmed address and check access or parking instructions with your host; campus tour registration is separate.

Review the exact destination and return plan when requesting your quote. Transportation does not include event tickets, admission or venue reservations.
