Muir Woods and Sausalito make a popular pairing, with the Marin Headlands as another option when you have time and the weather cooperates. Sort out the transport plan first so the day feels settled before you head north.
Stop 01 Morning among the redwoods
Follow the Redwood Creek paths beneath old coast redwoods, then choose a short loop or continue onto longer trails if your group is ready for more walking.
Good to know: NPS requires an advance reservation for vehicles using park parking and for shuttle riders. Match the reservation to your vehicle and pickup plan; there is no cell service at the park, so save the details before you set out.
Stop 02 Lunch and a shoreline stroll
After the forest, unwind by the bay with a meal, a walk along Bridgeway, and views across the water toward San Francisco.
Good to know: If you plan to return by ferry, the current schedule can help you coordinate where your car service will meet you.
Stop 03 Optional bridge viewpoint
On a clear day, Battery Spencer offers a close view of the Golden Gate Bridge along with a glimpse of the historic coastal defense site.
Good to know: Parking at the overlook is limited and often full. Visibility and current conditions make this a flexible stop, especially on foggy days.

For a flight departure, work backward from your airline’s recommended terminal-arrival time and use the upper end of the relevant range. Check the route for your actual pickup time. Airport check-in, security and boarding time are separate; traffic incidents can exceed these ranges. Trips from the airport need their own estimates, plus baggage and customs time where applicable.

Share the airport code on your ticket and your Marin pickup address, and we’ll prepare a route quote. SFO, OAK and SJC each involve a different journey, so we’ll help allow for traffic and airport procedures.
For the return, share your arriving flight number and Bay Area landing date. Your chauffeur manually checks flight status and coordinates the airport meeting point with you. We’ll confirm your home or hotel address for the return separately.
If a hillside home or limited turning or loading space makes pickup tricky, tell us about the access. We’ll work out the gate, building instructions and a practical meeting point with you.
For a hotel stay, share the property name, street address and the entrance you prefer. If you’re arranging the trip for a guest, we can coordinate directly with them.
Once your Napa or Sonoma appointments are set, we’ll help build a chauffeur booking around the drive from Marin, time at each stop and the ride home. Share lunch and any fixed check-in times too.
Your reservation covers transportation; wineries handle their own bookings, tasting fees and meals. If your schedule changes or you’d like another stop, let us know and we’ll talk it through with you.
For one San Francisco appointment, we can arrange a direct ride there and a scheduled return once you know the finish time. If you’d like the SUV between stops, hourly service may be a better fit.
