Ceremony and architectural photos
City Hall can be a ceremony destination and a backdrop for photographs. Make clear whether you have a civil ceremony appointment or another event arrangement, since the plans and guest logistics differ.

An alternative ceremony setting or park photo stop
The Presidio offers several small ceremony spaces with Bay and city views, alongside park paths and landmarks for a separate photo stop. A named venue or meeting point helps make the trip plan clear across the expansive grounds.
A useful note: Ceremony spaces require their own reservation. Venue access and timing will help you choose a comfortable place for guests to meet the car.
A lagoon-side portrait stop
The Rotunda, colonnades, and lagoon make this a familiar San Francisco portrait location. Add it as a timed stop between the ceremony and reception if the couple and photographer plan to use the grounds.
