Keep the booking clear

Tastings, meals and winery access are arranged and paid for separately.

An SFO-to-Napa transfer or a winery day?

If you’re arriving at SFO and heading to a Napa hotel or home, share the full destination address so we can quote the right route. The Napa River Inn example covers that endpoint; we’ll prepare a fresh quote for your destination.

For a winery day, hourly service gives you a chauffeur between stops. Share your stop addresses and put tasting times in the driver notes. Contact BCS before booking if the outing starts or ends at an airport and you have questions about combining services. A one-way transfer doesn’t reserve the vehicle for later tastings or the return.

Plan a Napa or Sonoma day

From San Francisco, a morning tasting, lunch and an afternoon appointment can make a lovely wine-country day. Allow time for your Napa or Sonoma stops, the drives between them and the journey home. You can book transportation before winery appointments are confirmed: enter the stops you know, add details in the notes and discuss your plans with the driver.

Your visits, your choices

Each winery sets its own hours, age requirements, group limits and cancellation terms. Arrange reservations, admission and tasting fees directly with the venues. If plans change, discuss the revised route or extra time with your driver; changes depend on availability and may add charges.

Choose the Napa Valley route · A place to begin

Napa and Yountville wineries

Plan winery visits around the styles, setting, or tours you care about, then leave time to enjoy each appointment rather than racing to the next one.

Good to know: Many visits are by reservation. Napa Valley Vintners recommends booking ahead and arranging a designated driver or car for the day.

The best part of a tasting may be hearing what everyone else notices. Give the visits room to breathe: a reservation you are excited about, lunch together, another winery nearby. Your chauffeur handles the roads between them during your booked hours.

A downtown Napa lunch stop 02

Oxbow Public Market

Gather lunch or a snack from independent food merchants in the market beside the Napa River, then take a short walk before the next part of your day.

Good to know: This pairs naturally with a Napa itinerary. For Sonoma, plan lunch near Sonoma Plaza instead of adding a cross-valley detour.

Choose the Sonoma route 03

Sonoma Plaza and State Historic Park

Historic park sites around the central plaza offer a change of pace from vineyard visits, with local shops and restaurants close by.

Good to know: California State Parks lists the sites and current opening details; allow time to walk between the plaza-area buildings.

Set the route around your reservations

Napa Valley Vintners suggests booking in advance and tasting responsibly. Choose one area for the day, enter the stops you know when booking, and allow time for your reservations and a meal.

  1. 01Choose Napa/Yountville or Sonoma Plaza as the day’s focus.
  2. 02Arrange any tasting visits directly with the wineries, with room for a meal between them.
  3. 03Enter the addresses and appointment times you already know when booking; add notes or discuss remaining details with your driver.
