Browse local food merchants and small shops inside the landmark Ferry Building, right on the waterfront at the foot of Market Street.
A useful note: Individual businesses keep their own hours. The merchant list is handy if there is a café or shop you especially want to visit.
Cafés and independent stops
Browse City Lights on Columbus Avenue, pause for coffee, and walk toward Washington Square. North Beach is a good place to leave part of the afternoon unplanned.
A useful note: It is a walk-first stop; comfortable shoes help on the city’s hills and stairways.
Trails and Golden Gate views
This former military post is now a national park site with coastal trails, beaches, picnic areas, and Presidio Tunnel Tops overlooking the Golden Gate.

For a flight departure, work backward from your airline’s recommended terminal-arrival time and use the upper end of the relevant range. Check the route for your actual pickup time. Airport check-in, security and boarding time are separate; traffic incidents can exceed these ranges. Trips from the airport need their own estimates, plus baggage and customs time where applicable.

For a hotel departure, we’ll agree on the entrance together so your chauffeur knows which door or valet area to use. If you’re booking for a visitor, we can help make sure they have the same pickup details.
For SoMa or Financial District offices, share the building name and street entrance. Let us know about access restrictions and we’ll work out a practical pickup point with you.
SFO, OAK and SJC are separate airports. We’ll help match your route to the code and date on your airline itinerary. For departures, we’ll plan the pickup around the drive and the airport arrival time your airline recommends.
For an arrival, share your flight number, local arrival date and full destination address. Your chauffeur manually checks flight status using the flight number you provide. We’ll confirm where to meet; international travelers should allow time for customs and baggage collection.
Our chauffeur service pairs a professional driver with the reserved black SUV. We can arrange a direct transfer for a hotel departure, airport ride or appointment, or hourly service for meetings, sightseeing and dinner stops with time between them.

A transfer connects one pickup to one destination. If you’d like your chauffeur available while you enjoy dinner or attend several meetings, we can plan an hourly booking through your final drop-off.
For an event, we’ll agree on a meeting point and pickup time together. For a regular, non-airport trip, waiting or a requested pickup delay of more than 30 minutes incurs a one-hour waiting charge. If the event runs late, contact BCS and we’ll talk through the options. We can include a return trip in your reservation.
If your home is on a narrow or steep street, or has a tricky driveway, gate or loading area, let us know. We’ll work with you on a practical meeting point and confirm how your bags, stroller or child seat fit the SUV.
